Scooter Board Relay
One scooter board per team, cones
How to play
Divide the class into equal teams with a scooter board each. Mark a start line and a turnaround cone about 15 metres ahead. On the signal, the first player sits or lies on the scooter board and propels themselves to the cone and back using their hands or feet on the floor. They return and the next player takes the board. Players must not stand on the scooter boards and must stay seated or lying flat for safety. Fingers must be kept clear of the wheels at all times. The first team to have all players complete the relay wins.
Variations
Have players race in pairs, one seated on the board and one pushing. Create a relay course with turns and obstacles to navigate.
