Chuck The Chicken

Divide participants into two even teams and give one group the chicken. The team with the chicken starts by throwing it anywhere in the designated playing area. Set this area at the beginning and make sure it is away from stairs, water etc. Once thrown, that team forms a circle and one person runs laps around it. The team counts the laps out loud. The other team immediately runs to where the chicken landed. They form a straight line and pass the chicken over and under the participants until it reaches the end. The last person yells 'STOP!' and throws the chicken anywhere in the playing area. That group then forms a circle and counts their laps. The other team retrieves the chicken and lines up. The game continues until you are satisfied the group is warmed up and ready to go.
