Group Juggle
A game that has participants thinking and reacting quickly!
Soft objects that can be thrown around the circle safely
How to play
Instruct everyone to stand in a circle. Introduce the first ball/object: say your own name out loud, then another person's in the circle, and throw the object to them. They say their own name, then another's, and pass the object on. This continues until the object returns to you. You now have the passing order for the game. You may repeat it once more so participants are certain of the order. Restart with the first object, reminding participants to say names loudly and keep the same order throughout. Once it is about halfway around, introduce another item. Participants must now react to two objects moving around the circle. Depending on ability and group size, introduce more objects at your discretion. The game should move quickly after a number of rounds as participants learn the order and names.
Variations
Use this to learn participants' goals and challenges: each person says their name, then a sentence describing their feelings, before passing the object on.
