Dress-Up Relay
Oversized clothing items per team (hat, shirt, shorts, shoes) in a bag or pile, cones
How to play
Divide the class into equal teams behind a start line with a pile of oversized costume items placed on a cone about 15 metres ahead. On the signal, the first player runs to the pile, puts on all the costume items over their clothes, runs back to tag the next player, then takes the costume off and passes it to them. The next player puts on the costume and repeats. Items must be fully put on before the player returns and must be completely removed and passed before the next player can leave. The first team to complete the relay wins.
Variations
Use themed costumes to tie into a curriculum unit. Have players do a funny pose at the cone before running back.
